ARENA Network is an independent organisation providing practical support and guidance to business and other organisations primarily in Wales on environment, waste and sustainability related issues.
ARENA Network’s principal aims are to promote greater environmental awareness, the adoption of best practice such as resource efficiency and sustainable development throughout the organisation and the wider business community. This work is undertaken on a demonstrably independent, professional, high quality and not for profit basis.
The welfare of our employees and visitors is paramount and we are committed to ensuring their safety with the ultimate goal of zero accidents as well as providing safe places of work and healthy working conditions.
ARENA Network operates certified Management Systems which satisfy the requirements of ISO 14001:2004 (Environment) and ISO 9001:2000 (Quality) and is working to OHSAS 18001:1999 (Health & Safety).
ARENA Network is committed to compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice and other requirements to which it subscribes.
Adherence to the management system is ensured and achieved through management leadership and commitment, regular audits and reviews, team briefings and training. A programme of continual improvement will be developed through establishing annual and quantifiable objectives and targets, to be documented and communicated to all working on behalf of ARENA Network.
ARENA Network will demonstrate a commitment to the prevention of pollution and minimise the environmental impacts of our activities.
This policy statement will be implemented, maintained and communicated to employees and made available to visitors and any other interested party.
