A life cycle analysis is a detailed, quantified and measured audit of the environmental impacts of your inputs, processes and outputs considering the ‘cradle to grave’ aspect of operations from incoming material and the impact that has on the environment, to a break down of each stage of process or operations and the resulting impact on the environment quantified by data collection and analysis. LCAs enable an organization to quantify how much energy and raw materials are used, and how much solid, liquid and gaseous waste is generated, at each stage of the product or process life.
