Business Environment Coordinators
Business Environment Co-ordinators (BECS) are located in all Unitary Authorities across Wales. Funded through the Welsh Assembly Government, EU programmes, the Environment Agency Wales and Unitary Authorities the network has been established for over six years in which time they have provided advice and guidance to over 4000 businesses.
BECS work on a one to one basis with companies and organisations and also within industrial estates across Wales, focussing on those with a particularly high environmental impact to implement aesthetic and business improvements with key business support partners.
The role of the BEC is to provide the contact point for businesses and manage the process of companies receiving assistance from the whole spectrum of help available to them from ARENA Network, Groundwork Wales and partner organisations.
Typically BECs facilitate environmental improvements and initiatives for your business or organisation through direct support or by referring you to the most appropriate business service provider, ensuring coordinated support is provided so the company receives a seamless service.
