WEEE Directive Compliance – Briefing Event
THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL
The Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations came into
force on 2nd January 2007, and require producers of WEEE to register or join a
compliance scheme by 15th March 2007. However, the main obligations for
Producers (manufacturers, importers or sellers) will come into effect on 1st
April 2007 with the full cost of treating and recycling separately collected
WEEE to be borne by the producers.
Whether you are a producer of WEEE or an organisation that has surplus WEEE
that needs to be discarded, this event will provide valuable information to
determine the actions your organisation may need to take. Experts will be
available at the event to provide guidance and to answer specific queries.
This event is FREE and the maximum number of places available to each
