Environmental Law - The Law Relating to Waste
The problems associated with waste: harm to the environment, costs to business and not least, the use of precious diminishing resources, are well known but nevertheless it is the experience of ARENA Network staff that waste-related issues occupy most of their time.
With virtually every business activity creating waste of some kind, it is important for those involved in managing and handling waste to understand not only the specific regulatory controls which apply but also, where appropriate, the strategic policy issues which drive the legislation

- The role of Environmental Management Systems
- Practical Waste Management e.g. "Duty of Care", licensing, packaging / packaging waste, specific waste streams
