Environmental Responsibilities for Senior Managers

For a company implementing or operating an Environmental Management System, the standard requires that employees receive awareness training of the environmental issues related to their job. Staff may be asked to demonstrate to the certification body that they are competent in their knowledge of the company’s environmental policy, objectives & targets, significant environmental aspects and job-related procedures.

The content of the course is delivered by a variety of means eg. video, lecture, discussion and group exercises

Who is the course aimed at?

Once a company has decided to implement an Environmental Management System, all staff will require environmental awareness training delivered over a suitable timescale. This course can be adapted to suit any layer of the workforce from process or administration staff to Directors and Managers.
